Today is one of the most important lessons you learn when it comes to business and being successful at it. And I am going to teach it to you.
So keep reading because I want you to get it too. I want you to be successful. And I want you to avoid the bulls**t that you encounter in business.
Let’s start with the truth. The business world is not easy when you are lost in it. To clarify this.
The business world is difficult when you don’t have a map. But when have a map you are an adventurer. You have a different experience than the others who don’t.
So today I want to talk about the one focus. I want to install it into your mind like an iOS system.
Because it will help you cut through bulls**t or useless business talk that many people engage in. You will be able to detect those who have a good idea about business.
You might think that everybody in business knows business. You’d be mistaken greatly.
Many people in business who don’t understand how to be successful in business. They are often drifting on trends and shifts that favored them for a while.
But their time will come when they can no longer afford to be in business anymore. Never truly understanding where it all went wrong.
So what’s the one focus you should have installed in your brain?
Focus on the client…
What do they want? What are they looking for? What do they desire? What are they asking for?
Understanding the clients, and customers, (and your sales team who speak with your clients and customers) who transact and communicate with your organization. They are the sole focus of a thriving business.
But why should the client or prospect be the focus? And why are they the remedy to avoid bulls**t in business? Why make the client or prospect the main focus?
Because your business thrives or doesn’t survive based on transactions. If you are laughing and saying ‘of course!’ . And you might be thinking that everybody gets this….but they don’t.
That’s why it’s important you do.
Why don’t many focus on the client and adding value to them first?
There are many reasons why. More than I could list. But the main ones include: Falling in love with their business rather than the consumer. Or looking at a business as a way of only purely extracting money from the market which is being solely a proprietor rather than a good listener and responder.
If you have a thriving business right now. Thank you, clients and customers. If you don’t have a thriving business or you are starting out in business then your sole focus must be on understanding the market and the people within that market who are human beings with desires, fears, hopes, and dreams.
